Fort Carson divsion to celebrate 100 years of service

The 4th Infantry Division will begin their Centennial Celebration, and will unveil their Centennial logo at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the 4th Infantry Division headquarters. The “Iron Horse” Division will commemorate 100 years of service to the United States during the year long celebration. The unit recently commemorated its 99th anniversary on Dec. 10, the day that Maj. Gen. George Cameron assumed command of the unit in 1917. The former of the Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson will be a guest speaker at the ceremony. He will be joined by local retired military officers and other distinguished guests.
