Canon City schools placed on lock out after shots fired call

Two schools in Canon City were under a lock out on Wednesday morning after police got a call of shots fired.

McKinley and Lincoln were under the lock out at 9:14 a.m. The lockout was lifted at 10:01 a.m. after police determined that it was just a physical altercation.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of Park Avenue and detained three people. A man was found with a head wound in the 900 block of Logan.

Everyone police interviewed refused to cooperate and would not give credible information.

These are all of the details released at this time.
