EPSO asking public’s help in identifying fraud suspect

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying a man who stole several items out of a victim’s car and made fraudulent charges on their debit card.

On August 8, the suspect reportedly took a driver’s license, gift cards, $83 and a Wells Fargo debit card out of the victim’s unlocked car. The car was parked outside the victim’s home in the 1100 block of Pipestone Court when the theft occurred.

The suspect then used the debit card to get gas at the 7-11 located at 510 Security Boulevard. He also purchased lottery tickets using the victim’s cash.

He is described as being either white or Hispanic in his late 20s to early 30s. He has a shaved head and a goatee. The suspect was caught on surveillance footage wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey, #80 Bennett, with tan pants.

If you have any information on this man, contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 719-216-4756.
