COS victim finds burglary suspects still in home

A Colorado Springs man chased two burglary suspects from his home after finding them in his garage.

The Colorado Springs Police Department got the call just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim told police that he had just chased a dark colored minivan from the area of Carved Terrace to Mount View.

According to the victim, the suspects’ vehicle was inside his garage when he got home. When the suspects saw him, they ran to the van and sped off.

The victim then followed them to the area of 3900 North Nevada and Mount View where the suspects came to a dead end. They both got out of the vehicle and ran away.

Officers used K9s in the area but were unable to find the suspects.

They are described as white males, one heavy set and the other medium build. The heavy set suspect was bald and wore a white shirt. The other had blonde hair.

This is an ongoing investigation.
