Missing Senior Citizen Alert issued for Colo. man with dementia

The Park County Sheriff’s Office activated a Missing Senior Citizen Alert on Sunday for a Colorado man diagnosed with dementia.

Walter Ryan, 72, was last seen on July 8 at his residence located at 1433 Blue Bird Drive in Bailey, Colo.

Ryan reportedly left a note stating he was leaving and taking his calico cat with him. Deputies also discovered that a .357 blue steel revolver was missing from his home.

Ryan’s vehicle was found with the keys in it by the Park County Sheriff’s Department.

Due to Ryan’s medical condition, the Sheriff’s Office issued the alert.
