“Picket” available for adoption

She’s one lucky kitty!

Picket, a cat found dangling from a fence in Colorado Springs, is now ready for a forever home.

The brown tiger cat was rescued by animal law enforcement officer Alethea Nolen two weeks ago.

A property owner, near Lake Avenue and I-25, called the sheriff’s office when he discovered the kitty yowling, stuck in an old privacy fence.

“By the time I got there, she was hanging by her wrist on her back leg and was upside-down and backwards pretty much. She was trying to hang on but I think she had given up at that point,” Nolen said.

Contact the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region if you are interested in adopting Picket.
