Springs man shoots at ex-girlfriend, charged with attempted manslaughter
A 25-year-old Colorado Springs man was arrested late Monday night for shooting at his ex-girlfriend.
Colorado Springs officers responded to a report of shots fired at an apartment located in the 3200 block of Galley Road at around 11:45 p.m.
When they arrived, the victim told police that she was fighting with her ex-boyfriend, Dustin Hammon, when he fired a gun at her. The bullet missed her and hit a wall nearby.
Hammon had left the apartment before police pulled up. When he showed up later, police arrested him. Hammon is charged with Attempted Manslaughter, Reckless Endangerment and Prohibited Use of Weapon.
