Credit cards stolen from cars, used to buy gaming systems and smart phone
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is looking for three men in connection to an identity theft investigation.
The men are accused of breaking into four vehicles in the 4700 block of Gami Way in Colorado Centre on Monday night.
Investigators say the men used credit cards stolen from the vehicles to buy three PlayStation 4’s and a gray iPhone 6.
The purchases were made at the Walmart in the 6300 block of Highway 85/87 in Fountain.
The trio left the store in a late ’90s or early 2000s silver or gold SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee.
You’re asked to call Deputy David Manzanilla at 719-390-5555 if you have any information.
The sheriff’s office warns that you should never leave credit cards, any form of identification or valuables in your vehicles.
