Pueblo VA meets to discuss solutions

Representatives from the VA, American Legion, Pueblo Veterans Council and other groups spoke about the need for education for veterans.

The organizations want to make sure the veterans voices are being heard and if the VA can’t help, they can point them to a group that can help.

“In the future, we’re going to task our state leaders to support those veteran service programs with getting an education so we all learn from it today,” said Salvadore Torres, Pueblo Veterans Council.

Daniel Warvi, a VA Public Affairs officer, says they hope to have a more consistent presence in Pueblo to help veterans.
