Fallen trooper honored at all Colorado Chili’s locations

A restaurant chain is honoring fallen Colorado Trooper Jaimie Jursevics.

Chili’s Grill & Bar was a place Trooper Jurservics visited often; now, all 35 Chili’s locations across Colorado are raising money to help her family.

Trooper Jursevics was hit and killed by a vehicle on November 15th, while helping another trooper at the scene of an accident at I-25 and Tomah Road.

She left behind a loving husband and 8-month-old daughter.

People who knew her say she had a heart to serve, and now a community is looking to serve her family by giving back.

“We are going to continue to be here for them and if there’s anything else we can do, we’re happy to help,” said Daniel Mccue, Chili’s Manager in Monument.

If you’d like to participate, just mention Trooper Jursevics while eating at a Chili’s at any time during the day on Monday.

Her family will receive 15% of the proceeds from restaurants.

Jursevics’ husband then will make a donation to the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation and the Flying Wheels Foundation, which helps with “immediate financial needs that are realized when a law enforcement officer is hurt or killed.”
