Clinton stumps in Denver, more than 800 supporters at rally

Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton campaigned in Denver Tuesday afternoon after spending the morning in Boulder.

The frontrunner for the Democratic nomination spoke to more than 800 supporters at Manual High School

She talked about fighting for the middle class and the need to continue the economic policies of President Obama. She believes the Republicans are out of touch with too many American families and said the stakes are critically high in this election. Clinton touched on women’s reproductive rights.

“I’m going to stand up for our rights. we’ve come too far to be sent back the way those Republicans are trying to do,” Clinton said. “I will defend a woman’s right to choose. I will defend Planned Parenthood..”

Clinton supporter Dawn Carrico argues it’s time for Hillary.

“I am so incredibly proud of her as a woman,” Carrico said. “To be here, looking at my three granddaughters and looking what she can do to change this world for women, I’m very proud.”

This was Clinton’s last campaign stop before Thanksgiving.
