Blustery Morning in Colorado Springs

We spent some time this morning in downtown Colorado Springs, and despite how strong the wind blew or how much snow fell, residents took it in stride and for many it was business as usual.

By noon, although the snow had moved out, the wind was still blowing strong, cold and nasty.

Resident Nicole Jacques, marveled at how different the results of this storm were, depending on where one lives.

She said, ” I live by UCCS there was lmaybe like, six inches. Some people live south there’s maybe like, one or two. There’s folks up in Black Forest who got, you know, one or two foot barrels of snow outside their front door “.

Overall, it appeared that the residents of this city were well prepared, and life, like storms, moves on.
