Stolen gun found at Laura Gilpin park
A stolen gun was found at Laura Gilpin park in northeast Colorado Springs.
Police say an adult male turned in the gun after his child found it at the park.
Last Tuesday, 18 guns were reportedly stolen outside of Rockey’s Moving and Storage. The guns were inside a vehicle parked outside of Rockey’s. It’s unknown if the vehicle was locked or not.
Since this is an ongoing investigation the owner of Rockey’s could not comment.
