Search for suspect in early morning shooting in Manitou Springs
The El Paso Sheriff’s office and Manitou Springs police are looking for a person who shot at a bail bond agent.
It happened near Manitou Avenue and Highway 24 in Manitou Springs after 2 a.m. on Saturday, September 5. Police say a bail bond agent reported the suspect fired shots after agents tried to capture the person.
Authorities say the bail bond agent then shot at the suspect. CSPD says no one was hurt in the shooting.
EPSO and Manitou Springs Police continue to investigate the incident.
