A study shows Pueblo is one of the most affordable place to live in the U.S.

Pueblo is one of the most affordable places to live in the U.S. and this is causing more people to move to the city.

The Council for Community and Economic Research reports the city is the sixth cheapest place to live in the country.

The affordable living is one of the reasons Jackie Whitehouse moved to Pueblo West.

She said since people were spending money, she decided to open a business also.

“For us, it has been really well here, we have been getting more walk-ins and more clients,” Whitehouse said.

The study determines the cost of living based on categories like price of groceries, housing, utilities, transportation and health care.

The overall cost of living in Pueblo is 15 percent lower than the national average.
