KRDO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs, is the winner of the past 2 Regional Murrow Awards for Overall Excellence. We are seeking an aggressive, highly motivated and skilled Sports Reporter / Anchor to join our staff. Colorado Springs is just an hour away from Denver and it is very common for people to make a major market jump from KRDO-TV.

Job Description:

The Sports Reporter / Anchor will report and shoot five days a week for the Sports Department at KRDO News Channel 13. The Sports Reporter will assist in daily sportscasts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare, produce and present stories on-air Work with Sports Director to establish and execute Sports segments Establish contacts with local coaches and high schools Must be able to shoot own live shots when needed Tell compelling and captivating local sports stories Fill-in Anchor when needed Work a flexible schedule Must be self motivated

Required Qualifications: 3 Years related experience is required.
