Suspicious package at Parkview not dangerous
A suspicious package was deemed not dangerous after it was found in the parking garage at Parkview Medical Center Wednesday night.
The package was found on the first level of the garage around 9:30 p.m. A security guard made the discovery and called police.
A portion of the parking garage was blocked off, as were some nearby streets. There were no evacuations inside the hospital itself.
On Thursday morning, the Pueblo Police Department announced that the items were found to be not dangerous. The items consisted of an empty 20 lb. propane tank, a suitcase and a golf club cart. Police say that someone intended to dispose of these items.
