Colo. Springs man arrested in drunk driving crash

Colorado Springs police arrested a man after a drunk driving crash on I-25 near the Cimarron exit.

The crash happened at around 11:40 p.m. Friday.

Officers said Ricardo Castellanos, 23, was driving a Cadillac sedan and trying to merge onto the interstate.

According to police, Castellanos was speeding and lost control of his car. He hit a concrete barrier and knocked it over.

His car ended up in oncoming traffic in the northbound lanes of I-25.

Police said a car was hit by debris, but there were no serious injuries.

Castellanos was arrested for driving under the influence and faces other charges.
