Deputies investigate a stabbing

El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a stabbing.

It happened at 1840 Lanka Lane near Peterson Road and Palmer Park Boulevard.

Sgt. Joe Roybal tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 deputies got a call about an assault just before 1:30 Sunday morning.

Sgt. Roybal says 31-year-old Jaquin Aliprando hit 31-year-old Brad Edgar with a crowbar and stabbed 30-year-old Danielle Aliprando in the hand.

Jaquin Aliprando was held by witnesses until deputies got there, according to Sgt. Roybal.

Sgt. Roybal says Brad Edgar was treated at the home and will be fine. He says both Danielle and Jaquin Aliprando were take to the hospital. He says Jaquin Aliprando had self-inflicted injuries. Both are expected to be okay.
