1 zapped, 1 sprayed, both arrested after gun shots fired in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police arrest two men after getting reports someone was shooting off a gun.

Police say just before 2:00 Sunday morning they got calls about someone shooting a gun in the area of Bijou and Limit.

When officers got there, they say they started talking to two men. Police say one of the men, 21-year-old Joseph Prunty, started fighting with the officers and that’s when they tasered him.

Police say Prunty’s cousin, 20-year-old David Prunty, got angry after the tasing and started fighting with officers. Police say they pepper-sprayed him.

Both were arrested for obstruction.
