All lanes of Highway 67 are now open north of Cripple Creek

The Colorado Department of Transportation announced Friday evening that all lanes of Highway 67 north of Cripple Creek are back open.

One lane has been closed for the past several days as crews worked to fill a sinkhole and repair the roadway.

The sink hole developed below an abandoned mine shaft last Saturday, temporarily closing the entire highway.

CDOT was able to open one lane to alternating traffic on Tuesday.

CDOT says the cost to repair the sinkhole was about $112,000
