Fire burns structure near Rush, now out

A fire has been extinguished near Rush after it burned a small structure and about 10 acres of grass.

The fire started in an out-building on a property in the 8400 block of County Road 8, near County Road J. The building was destroyed and the fire spread to the surrounding grass. It burned about 10 acres before fire crews were able to put it out.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown and what exactly the out-building was is unclear.
