Small wildfire at Rocky Mountain National Park

One trail is closed as firefighters try to put out a small blaze in Rocky Mountain National Park.

An 18-person ground crew hiked to the area, which covered about half an acre on Wednesday. A helicopter was called in to drop water on the fire.

Park officials say a section of the Ute Trail from Trail Ridge Road to Upper Beaver Meadows Road is closed. The fire is believed to have been caused by lightning.
