UPDATE: Man Shot During Pueblo Home Invasion

Police are searching for three suspects after a shooting on the 1000 block of E. Abriendo Thursday night.

The incident is being called a home invasion. It happened just before 10:00 p.m.

Captain Jeff Bodmer of the P.P.D. tells NewsChannel 13 that they are looking for two men and a woman, all young and all described as Hispanic.

He says a man was shot once in the hip/leg area. He was taken to Parkview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident began as the suspects kicked in the back door of the residence.

Officers are working on a tip that the female suspect may have been in the home earlier in the evening, although it’s still not clear what the exact relationship might be.

The victim tells police he did not know any of his attackers.

It’s not clear if anything was taken from the home.

Police were searching back-yards and homes in the immediate area.
