Local Sales Assistant

Date: April 16, 2012Location: Colorado Springs, COPosition: Local Sales Assistant

Job Description: Provides support to the sales office staff, Local Sales Manager, Director of Sales and the Traffic department. Assists in developing sales packages, presentations and research information; maintains One Domain inventory, rates and rating estimates/rationale for all programming; maintains and updates account list; assists in monthly production billing; updates programming calendars and Denver overnights; handles correspondence for Sales management and Local Account Executives; assists the Traffic department to clear, input and confirm orders; and studies and disseminates broadcast and broadcast sales information pertaining to the local economy.

Requirements: The successful candidate must have a high school diploma with a college degree preferred. Previous office support experience; excellent time management skills; a working knowledge of computers with emphasis on Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel; the ability to work standard office machines; solid written and verbal communication skills; be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills, and desire to go into sales.
