Pueblo Crime Stoppers Looks For Copper Thief

Pueblo Crime Stoppers is asking for your assistance in locating a suspect of a major copper theft.

Pueblo Police Department took a report from Black Hills Energy concerning a large amount of stolen copper from their Victoria Street facility on Jan. 27th. The amount of stolen copper is approximately 3 to 5 thousand pounds. This particular type of copper is used for high voltage.

Surveillance photos show the suspect vehicle and trailer. The vehicle appears to be an older white or light colored single cab pickup with a possible brush guard in the front. The pickup may have a custom black metal tailgate and the trailer appears to be a flat bed with a drop gate, similar to the trailer in the photo below.
