Update: Van Slams Into Trailer At Meadows Mobile Home Park

A van smashed into two parked cars and a mobile home Monday night after police said the the driver may have suffered a medical episode.

It happened at the Meadows Mobile Home Park, on the 4800 block of Astrozon Blvd., just after 9:30 Monday night.

Emergency crews on scene say the man lost control of the van, careening off of a parked car and truck, before striking the side of the trailer, breaking through siding and cinder blocks.

The couple who lives there said the impact felt like an earthquake.

The driver was the only person injured. He was rushed to the hospital to be checked out, but police said it seemed like he was okay.

Alcohol is not suspected as playing a factor
