Deadly Crash Suspect Turns Himself In

Colorado Springs police say the man suspected in the deadly crash that killed Mark Meschelle turned himself in Monday night.

Police say Michael Benton is the suspected driver in the crash that happened on February 13 at 1400 N. Nevada.

The crash caused the death of Mark Meschelle and injured Ken Baker.

Benton was arrested on the charge of Accidents involving Death or Personal Injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, but no further suspects are wanted at this time.
