Police Look For Suspects In Springs Double Homicide

Investigators continue to request the assistance of the public in locating 21-year-old Alonzo Paige and are now looking for another suspect who may have been at the scene of the crime.

An arrest warrant for murder in the first degree has been issued for Alonzo Paige in reference to the shooting and double homicide that happened on Jan. 24th.

Paige goes by the nickname ?Baby Wiz?. He is a black male, 5?11?, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Paige should be considered armed and dangerous.

In addition to Paige, investigators are also searching for 22-year-old Rashad ?Dominique? Mayo, who goes by the alias of ?Demo?. Mayo is a black male, 5?9?, 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Mayo has an arrest warrant for a probation violation unrelated to this investigation, however, is believed to have fled the scene of the crime with Paige.

On Jan. 24th shooting, officers arrived to Timberlane Apartments in the 3900 block of East Bijou Street, just east of North Academy, to find two victims dead and two others injured. 20-year-old Marquise Bean and 23-year-old Andrew Encalade were killed in the shooting. 21-year-old Jareem Vanterppool and 26-year-old Adam Encalade, Andrew’s brother, were sent to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Their condition is unknown at this time.
