UPDATE: Suspect, Victims ID’d In Timberlane Apartments Shooting

Colorado Springs Police are actively searching for a suspect involved in a shooting on E. Bijou Street Tuesday morning.

Police have an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Alonzo Paige, AKA “Babywiz.” A suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored, older model sedan. There are two wide stripes down the middle of the hood and trunk.

Officers arrived to Timberlane Apartments in the 3900 block of East Bijou Street, just east of North Academy, to find two victims dead and two others injured. The two who were injured were transported to the hospital and remain in serious condition. They are 21-year-old Jareem Vanterpool and 26-year-old Adam Encalade.

One of the deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Marquise Bean. On Jan. 26th, police identified the second deceased victim as 23-year-old Andrew Encalade. He is the brother of surviving shooting victim, Adam Encalade.
