UPDATE: Man Arrested, Pulled Knife After Shoplifting At Sears

Police have one person in custody after a shoplifting incident at the Sears in Chapel Hills Mall.

One male was arrested at the Travel Star Inn around noon Tuesday and two others were detained for questioning.

Police say a security guard approached the suspect after he was spotted shoplifting at the store. The suspect then pulled out a large knife and ran away with an unknown amount of merchandise.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 30s. He is wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. Scanner reports indicate he is missing his front teeth. The suspect left in a blue Toyota Celica driven by a Hispanic female.
