Men Threaten Wildlife Officer

Officials are looking for two men they say threatened a Lake Pueblo State Park officer with a rifle.

Wildlife officials said the officer stopped to investigate a suspicious SUV parked on North Marina Road on Friday, Dec. 16.

Investigators believed the men inside the SUV were hunting illegally.

Officials said the SUV fled, leading the officer on a chase. During the pursuit, investigators said the passenger pointed a rifle at the officer.

The SUV was last seen on McCulloch Boulevard in Pueblo West, according to Officials. Investigators said the SUV was believed to be a silver Nissan Xterra. The Officer described the men as white and in their 20s.
