Soldiers Set To Return Home Friday Morning

More than 150 Soldiers from the 43rd Sustainment Brigade’s 360th Transportation Company will be welcomed home in a special ceremony Friday at 12:30 a.m. at the Special Events Center.

The Soldiers of the 360th Transportation Company are returning from a yearlong deployment to eastern Afghanistan.

They provided support to thousands of service members, coalition forces and civilians across 11 forward operating bases in and around the Afghan capital city of Kabul.

During their deployment, the Soldiers of the 360th Transportation Company completed more than 750 missions.

Their mission entailed providing transportation for more than 20,000 people, shipping hundreds of pieces of cargo, and delivering more than 5.5 million gallons of fuel and more than $100 million worth of equipment and supplies.
