Honda Recalls 1.5 Million Vehicles
Three types of Hondas are part of a massive recall announced Friday.
The problem prompting the recall of about 1.5 million cars is in the automatic transmission of a handful of models. A part that can be damaged if the car is shifted quickly between reverse, neutral and drive.
According to Honda, 2005-08 Elements, 2007-10 CRVs, and 2004-10 Accords with four-cylinder engines all have that faulty part. Damage to the part can cause the vehicle to roll even when it is in park.
No injuries or deaths have been reported with this recall. Honda said it will fix the problem if you take it to one of their dealers with a service department.
