Children Of Promise

As heard on KRDO‘s Morning News,a local charity, alongside the Colorado Springs Police Department, is making a difference in the community by helping local disadvantaged teens head back to school prepared. Children of Promise works to help all teens in need with the help of high school counselors. Charity spokeswoman Nancy Price-Weddle says they’re working right now to “Pack the Backpack.” Those who seek assistance from Children of Promise can speak with their counselor click here for more. Donations can be dropped off at any State Farm agency or with the CSPD.
