COLORADO SPRINGS – An electrical outlet is suspected to be the source of an overnight fire in Colorado Springs. It broke out around 1:45 a.m. at a business complex in the 1700block of Monterey.
When firefighters arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the first floor. A security guard noticed the smoke as he was getting ready to leave for the night.
Colorado Springs Fire Department says the fire only caused minor damage. The building houses West Tek office and a barber shop. Business isn’t expected to be affected.
