Babysitter Holds 8-Month-Old For Ransom
COLORADO SPRINGS – A babysitter who was watching an 8-month-old for 16 days demanded ransom for the child’s safe return Thursday night.
Police say the exchange happened in an alley near 1400 Pando Avenue. David Spicer, the father of the child, says the suspect threatened him with a knife while demanding money for his child’s safe return. Police say the child had severe swelling to the right side of his head and looked emaciated.
