KRDO’S Tuesday Afternoon Pet of the Week

Bluey is your KRDO Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! He is a six-year-old gray Domestic Shorthair cat who came into HSPPR as a stray.

· Bluey is a gentle boy who is looking for a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace.

· He needed a little extra time and support to feel comfortable at the shelter, and he’ll thrive with experienced, cat-savvy adopters who understand that trust takes time to build.

· Bluey isn’t the type of cat to rush into new friendships, but with patience and understanding, he continues to make wonderful progress.

· He loves cozy cat naps in his cubby and will likely appreciate having plenty of safe hiding spots while he adjusts to his new home.

· Once Bluey gets to know you, he enjoys gentle pets, especially soft scratches on the top of his head.

· He has already formed trusting relationships with shelter staff, proving that with kindness and consistency, his sweet personality shines through.

· Bluey is looking for someone who understands that the best things in life are worth waiting for, and he promises to make every bit of that patience worthwhile.
