Pueblo Police recover “truckloads” of stolen property following burglary arrests

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- On Monday, Sept. 12, Pueblo police responded to the 1100 block of Lake Ave. in an attempt to locate fugitive, Raymond Smith.

Police said Smith had six active warrants for his arrest. Officers located Smith and took him into custody after a short foot chase.

According to Pueblo PD, their investigation determined that Smith and 38-year-old Noah Wimber were involved in several storage unit burglaries.

Following the arrests of Smith and Wimber, police said they recovered several "truckloads" of stolen property. They are in the process of contacting the victims of the storage unit thefts and returning their items.

Pueblo PD said their investigation continues and additional charges are expected.
