Quiet but Cool Tuesday 11-5-18

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold tonight as winds decrease. Lows will be in the 20s and 30s. Some spots in the mountains could dip into the upper teens.

TOMORROW: The weather will remain favorable for those heading to the polls. We’re expecting a dry day with mainly sunny skies, but it will be pretty cold early in the morning and again in the evening with temps in the 20s and 30s. During the afternoon, it becomes breezy again pushing highs to the 40s and 50s. Our mountain cities stay in the 30s during the afternoon.

EXTENDED: Cooler weather will arrive Wednesday as moisture returns to the Southeast Plains and low clouds develop. Highs will be in the 30s and 40s. Temps drop further with a strong cold front on Thursday. Gusty northerly winds and highs in the 20s and 30s are expected. Rain and snow is possible with this system, but for now it looks to favor the Eastern Plains. The weather drys out for Friday and the weekend but temps remain cool.
