Colorado Springs police investigating body found near I-25
Colorado Springs police are investigating after a body was found Monday near the Interstate 25 barrier wall on the west side of the city.
The body was found by a person walking their dog near W. Madison Street and Cooper Ave. ( MAP ), and a gun was found at the scene.
After a brief investigation, police said they believe this is the result of a suicide. An autopsy is still pending to determine an official cause of death.
