Arrest made in string of downtown dumpster fires

Police say a man is facing arson charges in connection to a string of dumpster fires.

Sequoya Jones, 32, was arrested on July 13, 2015 in the 200 block of N. Tejon St.

Police say Jones started fires in several dumpsters and trash cans in the downtown area beginning in the middle of June.

In addition to the arson charges, police say Jones faces a charge for false reporting.
