Man in critical condition after being punched at Memorial Park

Colorado Springs Police say a man who fell and hit his head on the cement was critically hurt in the skirmish at the skate park in Memorial Park.

Police were called to the park at 7:21 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Investigators say the man, an unidentified 56 year old, exchanged words with an unidentified juvenile before the juvenile punched him in the face.

The punch sent the man falling to the ground. He was admitted to Memorial Hospital in critical condition with head trauma.

Police say they think they know who the juvenile is.

No other details have been released.
