UPDATE: Man stabbed repeatedly during family fight

Police say two people have been arrested in connection to a stabbing on the southeast side on Tuesday, December 17, 2013.

The crime happened in the 3400 block of Viero Drive, which is located near the intersection of Powers Blvd. and Milton E. Proby Pkwy.

The victim, an unidentified 40-year-old man, was stabbed multiple times in the face and torso. He is expected to survive.

Police say a fight at a family gathering led to the stabbing.

Dallas Packer, 61, was arrested and is facing charges for 1st degree assault. Dannette Carabajal, 42, was also arrested. She is facing charges for being an accessory to 1st degree assault.
