Part of grenade found in Springs neighborhood

Colorado Springs Police tell KRDO NewsChannel 13 that the bomb squad was called to the 400 block of South Hancock Avenue as a precaution after the top half of a grenade was found.

The grenade part posed no threats, police said. Officials searched the area and found nothing dangerous.
