VP Candidate Paul Ryan comes to Denver

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s vice presidential choice is coming to Colorado for a fundraiser and a rally. Democrats said they’re ready.

Republican Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan is scheduled to hold a fundraiser in a Denver suburb Monday night and he has a public rally scheduled Tuesday at Lakewood High School.

Democratic Colorado congressman Ed Perlmutter and Democratic Party Chairman Rick Palacio plan their own welcome for Ryan on Monday with a news conference attacking Ryan’s economic policies and his record on women’s issues.

Both parties consider Colorado a swing state and voters are getting a lot of attention during this year’s presidential election.
