Flags ordered to half-staff statewide for fallen CSPD officer
Gov. John Hickenlooper ordered flags be lowered to half-staff on all public buildings statewide on Tuesday, July 31, in honor of Colorado Springs Police Officer Matthew Tyner.
Mayor Steve Bach also ordered flags to be lowered at all Colorado Springs municipal buildings on Tuesday.
Tyner died on July 24, 2012, in the line of duty in Colorado Springs. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at New Life Church, 11025 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs.
