Fake Bomb In Mail Box

Colorado Springs police are investigating a fake bomb.

Police say a woman found a small metal cylinder inside her mail box at her home in the 2000 block of west platte avenue just before 7 a.m. Sunday. She called police, and the first officer to arrive called for a Bomb Tech.

The technician determined that the device was a hoax and that it could not explode.
