Unsettled weather, flash flooding possible to start the work week

Tonight:  Any showers and/or thunderstorms will end this evening with a partly cloudy sky during the night. Low temperatures will fall into the 50s and 60s for most areas.

Extended:  Cooler air will start moving over the area on Monday bringing much better chances for showers, thunderstorms, and possibly heavy rain to parts of the area for a couple of days. Storms look to be most widespread along and north of the Arkansas River on Monday, then along and south of the Arkansas River on Tuesday. High temperatures should fall back into the 70s and 80s for most areas by Tuesday with some 60s over the mountains. Showers and thunderstorms should gradually decrease in coverage starting Wednesday with temperatures slowly warming into the 80s and 90s for the plains, and 70s over the mountains.
