Crews respond to small grass fire in east Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a small grass fire burning along E. Platte Ave.
According to the CSFD, Engine 8 reported the fire was 50’x75’ near the intersection of E. Platte Ave. and Wooten Rd. While there is a lot of smoke lingering in the area, CSFD said the fire is under control.
CSFD first reported the fire at 2:36 p.m.
The fire department will remain at the scene putting out hotspots.
